Your reflective understanding and genuine appreciation of our efforts as students of the MAOL program wove together a tapestry of insight, learning, growing, and giving to the community. This extends today...ten years beyond our graduation...the tentacles of influence will remain lit!
Regards to a wonderful mentor!

Dear Rebecca,
You have expanded and transformed the legacy of the Master of Leadership program to the broader and now global community. Your leadership has allowed many faculty members to build depth and strength inside organizations in collaboration with the women and men who lead them.
I don't think we are really talking about your retirement here - I believe it might be more aptly called your "refire-ment" . I will always be grateful for the opportunities to advance the cause and your elegant way of recognizing, welcoming and maximizing talent. You
have inspired many and I hope we can do that for you .

Dear Rebecca,
You are been dear to my heart. I will always remember your faithfulness along with Louise to me as I struggle to get an operating thesis statement. Even now my gratitude is filling this space.
You have done so much in continuing to sharpen and develop the MAOL program. Your commitment and far-sightedness is evident and the students get to reap the wealth of your efforts.
Thank you for being a friend when I needed one. I hope this next stage in your life is full of many blessings.
Fondly,
S. Mary Thomas

Professor Hawthorne,

I would like to thank you for an extraordinary MAOL learning experience at St Kate. You are great inspirational and compassionate leader. Also, it was a great opportunity to experience my first study aboard in South Africa. Ethical and authentic leadership reigns supreme.
Congratulations on your retirement!

Best wishes as you begin another chapter in your life. Romans 12:2 (NIV) “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
